Out and About : North Sydney

North Sydney is a commercial precinct located north of the Sydney Harbour Bridge; the area is much quieter on the weekends where most of the activity is around the local produce market and North Sydney Oval away from the train station and tall buildings.

#0153  Alice in Wonderland themed cafe with a huge mural inside and hanging teacup lamps.  We chanced on it as it was a Pokestop.

PS.  The lesson from this sketch was to slow down my drawing.  The linework is less deliberate and lighter on the windows (which I did on location) vs the ivy (most of which was completed when I had time later).

People Watching @ North Sydney

#0036  People watching from the lawn (at a distance) at the North Sydney markets.  Most of them didn’t stand still for long enough!

PS.  Looks like they all have rolled up sleeves because the arms were too short in the initial attempt.
